Rapid Growth for PBM Thanks to Winning 3 Hines Contracts

It’s been a spectacular year at PBM. We surpassed our own expectations and shattered our projections for growth company wide, and especially in the Mid-Atlantic region where we’ve seen an increase of 300%. This was due in large part to the international real estate firm Hines, which earlier this year contracted with us at their 2550 M Street location, giving PBM our first opportunity to prove we could deliver the “Hines Standard of Excellence.” Then, on October 1, after an extensive vetting process for the service provider that aligns with the

Hines best practices, they awarded us two prestigious contracts, putting PBM on the Mid-Atlantic map! We’ll be servicing 1001 Pennsylvania Ave., a Trophy Class office building located between the White House and the U.S. Capitol Building, and 1200 19th Street, an 11-story office building in the central business district of Washington, DC. While we’re thrilled with this accomplishment, we recognize the hard task ahead of us. We will continue our relentless efforts to exceed our clients’ expectations and deliver best in class service, while creating and maintaining partnerships with our clients.

Appointment of General Manager

To add to an already extraordinary year, PBM Chairman and CEO Scott Mager is very excited to introduce Jean Cavanagh as the new General Manager of PBM, who will be involved in the structure and overall management of PBM.

Reporting directly to Scott, Jean will be implementing policies, processes and procedures to reduce costs and increase accountability of all PBM employees. She will also streamline and manage all operational aspects of each of PBM’s accounts to ensure that we are in alignment with our marketing and sales campaigns in each region.

Jean brings to the organization a wealth of experience, which she gained during her tenures at the National Basketball Association, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Warner Music Group. Prior to joining PBM, Jean led teams through challenging transitions such as consollidation, construction, department restructuring and outsourcing entire departments, all of which has led to her preparedness to lead here at PBM.

“I have worked with PBM from many years as a client and now that I am on this side of the business, I am able to provide a different perspective and lead the team in best practices and the highest service level. PBM is truly where the talent in this industry lives,” said Jean.

Please join us in welcoming Jean to the PBM family.

Turner Construction Company Hires PBM for Another Big Clean Up

PBM Journal

PBM is proud to have been hired by Turner Construction Company to help ready 7 Bryant Park to be open for business. This had PBM crews working diligently around the clock with special attention to the intricate details of this monumental building, a new 30-story iconic landmark sporting a spectacular view of Bryant Park.

In the heart of midtown, 7 Bryant Park has a dramatic multi-level penthouse, tenth-floor terraces and ground floor corporate retail space along Avenue of the Americas. With flexible floor plates and tailored infrastructure to serve multiple user groups, including high-density occupancy, this building truly offers major identity opportunities in New York City.

PBM Leads NYC in Powerful, Safer Cleaning Solutions

We’ve built our business on the idea that we don’t cut corners, we clean them. Here at PBM, we have a moral responsibility to do this in a way that not only satisfies our clients, but Mother Nature herself. PBM is proud to be the first and only service provider in New York City to use PathoSans, the safest, most responsible cleaning product currently on the market.

This innovative and highly efficient system uses patented technology to convert softened tap water and salt into electochemically-activated (ECA) cleaning solutions. PathoClean sodium hydroxide, an alkaline cleaner, and PathoCide, a hypochlorous acid cleaning solution, work together to create an easy to use system.

PathoSans allows workers to quickly learn the system with the minimal equipment maintenance required for long-term operation. With this new system, we have eliminated the need for over a dozen standard products, and have improved workers’ safety. PBM is a CarbonNeutral® company and this product drastically reduces our carbon footprint. PBM thanks our special crew who made this a success.

Patho Sans

It’s sustainable.
It’s reusable.
It’s responsible.
