Perfect Building Maintenance (PBM LLC) is proud to announce it has achieved the Global Biorisk Advisory Council’s (GBAC) STAR™ Service Accreditation. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, PBM is among an elite group within its industry to achieve this status. GBAC STAR™ Service Accreditation represents a third-party validation of the Company’s cleaning and disinfection programs and protocols. PBM is also certified CarbonNeutral®, a certification it has maintained since 2014, as part of its stringent corporate-wide sustainability program.
To achieve GBAC STAR™ accreditation, PBM successfully completed a rigorous review of its current cleaning protocols as well as the inclusion of additional methods recommended by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council™. PBM was required to demonstrate compliance with the program’s 20 core elements, ranging from standard operating procedures and risk assessment strategies to personal protective equipment and emergency preparedness and response measures.
“We are proud to have achieved this accreditation which validates PBM’s long-standing efforts and standards in the service of our clients,” said PBM Chairman and CEO Scott A. Mager. He added, “Given the relentless nature of the current pandemic, the ability of PBM to meet the high standards set by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council ensures our clients and their employees will be able to return to their offices safely and confidently.”
“GBAC STAR Service Accreditation empowers service provider owners and managers to assure workers, customers and key stakeholders that they have proven systems in place to maintain clean and healthy environments,” said GBAC Executive Director Patricia Olinger. “By taking this important step to pursue GBAC STAR Service Accreditation, PBM has received third-party validation of its cleaning, disinfection and infection prevention protocols and procedures.”
PBM’s protocols and practices, as defined within the GBAC STAR™ Service accreditation, are best experienced through PBM Now – Advance Cleaning for Re-Occupancy. PBM NOW provides a comprehensive menu of services from which a custom-crafted program can be designed to ensure a safe, confident, and efficient re-occupancy of office facilities. According to the latest CDC Guidance, it is important for building owners and tenants to develop appropriate re-occupancy plans, in advance of any significant return to office buildings or tenant spaces.
